Mimi and I met up with Ellyn (certified original fangirl) last night to attend the launch of Sugarfree's third album "Tala-Arawan" in Metrowalk. It's our first gig in like over a year (wow, has it been that long?). We were surprised that there are now bouncers and stuff, personal alalays, hair salon sponsors and malamig na yung aircon.

Ebe gives their producer Robin Rivera the Popeye look.

Inksurge designed the album cover which I love for its simplicity. Rex of Inksurge (photo below) told me they really wanted to have the album look like a diary, with handstitching and faux leather cover but the costs were too prohibitive.

Speaking of Inksurge, they will be leading the Pinoy delegation at Graphika Manila this Saturday with international design rockstar Joshua Davis as the keynote speaker (Lupit!).
