We’re back…
…in uber hot Manila, boohoo!
We couldn’t believe that it was only a week ago that we were strolling in uber cold New York City. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back, perhaps sometime in August ๐
And as if it was serendipity, the movies in our flight back were shot in the Big Apple: Enchanted, August Rush and the Bee Movie. So anyway, here are a few photos of famous New York landmarks, most were also set locations of other movies. Can you name those movies? ๐
The Empire State Building
Flat Iron Building
Grand Central Station
Central Park
The Metropolitan Museum of Art
St. Paul’s Chapel (behind it is Ground Zero)
Rockefeller Center
Times Square
The Piano at F.A.O. Schwarz toy store
An Apple at the Big Apple
The B&H Photo Video Store. The photographer’s toy store.
One for my bike series.
M+K over at the Museum of Modern Art ๐

Ooooh you went to NY, di na talaga kayo maabot MimiKarl! (; Congrats on your continued success! Glad you guys had fun in the States.
What lovely photos too. Lemme try answering your question about the landmarks, like you guys I’m a pop culture geek —
Empire State – dami! From the top of my head: the classic King Kong, Superman, Sleepless in Seattle, A Love Affair (and An Affair to Remember),
Flatiron Bldg – Spiderman (ofc ng Daily Bugle), Veronica’s Closet
Grand Central Terminal – Gossip Girl (Serena’s comeback scene!), Fisher King, Loser, Superman din ata
Central Park – Godspell, Enchanted, Hair, Wall Street, Imagine (did you visit Strawberry Fields?)
Times Square – si Hiro!, Spiderman,
The Met – The Devil Wears Prada, Gossip Girl rin is filmed on its steps
St. Paul’s Chapel – hmm di ko alam yan ah
Rockefeller – Serendipity, Sex and the City,
F.A.O.’s piano – BIG!
