Dreams and the Outer Banks, North Carolina have always been intertwined in history. Blackbeard the Pirate used to dream of gold and silver from Spanish galleons passing along these shores and the Wright brothers dreamt of flying their plane up on the sand dunes. How apt then that Kathryn and Adam realised their dream wedding on the beach front of a house named, what else, but Carolina Dream.
Kathryn and Adam set sail to new and unchartered territory.

Blues skies and sunny with a cool slight breeze from the Atlantic… just perfect for a wedding!
This is the Carolina Dream!
What I love about the United States in the summer is that the sun sets at 9pm. We could just take it slow in making gorgeous bridal portraits and not worry about missing our natural light window.

I’ve always been a fan of your work! I’m a Filipina, based in NC right now, and yes – the outerbanks is indeed beautiful! I wish you guys could have a country-side wedding in NC too – would be soo awesome to see! Cool pictures as always – good job mimi and karl!
